Analysis of the efficiency and specificity in the
root-microbe
symbioses
|
1.
Visits to two field sites in the St.-Petersburg area (prepared
in advance) for collecting the plants (goats ‘ rue and soybeans)
for analysis of the symbiotic activity. |
2.
Measuring nitrogenase activity (acetylene reduction assay;
gas chromatography) and N accumulation (Kijltek Auto system)
as well as nodulation scores and biomass yields. |
3.
Demonstration of the contrast phenotypes of symbiotic mutants
(pea) followed by microscopy (as it was done at Kaunas in
2005 maybe plus analysis of AM mycorrhization). |
4.
Evaluation of symbiotic specificity using the models of
Nod factors activities on different pea genotypes. |
